OUR STORY

UWE International Education Services was first incorporated in August 2018 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of the West of England, Bristol. With its headquarters located in Kuala Lumpur, UWEIES aims to provide high quality recruitment support for potential students, educational and training activities, services in support of our educational partners and representatives and a whole range of educational activities that are delivered on behalf of the university within Asia Pacific. UWEIES is a new and dynamic international educational service provider.

With an international staff team of over 30 people located in Malaysia, and across other countries in the Asia Pacific region, we are able to provide local services for students who are pursuing an educational pathway at the university in the UK. We do this through our local student recruitment teams, our partnerships with higher education institutions and with representatives located in region but all working as part of the university. UWEIES is part of the University of the West of England and seeks to support the delivery the university’s global objectives.

Over the next few years we intend to expand our international educational services in line with the vision of the university. We aim to provide a range of activities into areas that bring the learning opportunities available at the university to local communities across Asia Pacific. With our partners, we aim to further the development of the global knowledge economy equipping learners with the skills, competencies and personal qualities that enable them to contribute to the workplace and society in which they live.
As part of a university, UWEIES is committed to making a difference to lives through constantly evolving and changing opportunities to learn.
